MLK 2025 Weekend of Service: Medical Sort and Pack at Project C.U.R.E.
Bring hope and health to the world with Project C.U.R.E., a national faith-based organization! Join us as we sort and pack desperately needed medical supplies that are shipped to hospitals, clinics, and orphanages in over 100 poverty stricken countries worldwide! Volunteers will meet new people and learn a lot about medical supplies and the urgent needs of them in under-resourced countries around the world.
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 14 with a parent or guardian. All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Volunteers must create an account with Project C.U.R.E. and sign in through their system at the warehouse. To make this process faster, please register here to set up your account before the project date.
Note: The building is a warehouse, so please wear close-toed shoes, appropriate clothing and bring water. You may be packing in either the warehouse or the sorting center. Please be prepared to do some lifting (up to 30 pounds).
If you would like to register your child, please email the opportunity coordinator listed below and ask to reserve a guest slot. Please note, volunteers 13 years or older can create their own HandsOn account and sign up for opportunities directly (activation fee is not applicable for those under the age of 16).
