Family and Youth Volunteering at HandsOn Greater Phoenix

Volunteering as a family strengthens bonds, creates lasting memories, and instills shared values. By working together on community projects, families not only support a good cause but also grow closer and learn important lessons about empathy and teamwork. In an increasingly busy world, volunteering together strengthens family bonds and highlights the value of making a positive impact.

Individuals and families can utilize our Volunteer Opportunity Calendar to easily plug into volunteer projects for causes they care about. At a click of a button you can sign up for projects that fit around your schedule. Age restrictions vary by project. Check the individual project details for age restrictions for youth attending with and without an adult. Youth volunteering without an adult present must bring a signed youth waiver form to the project with you.

Get started volunteering with youth:

  • Volunteers 13 and older can Create an Account with us to track your hours and make it easier to attend future volunteer opportunities
  • Your child is under 13? That’s okay! All you need to do is email the opportunity coordinator to reserve volunteer slots
  • Are you looking to work towards a scholarship, build your resume, or get more involved in the community? Try to achieve a Presidential Volunteer Service Award
