Volunteer Golf Coach (Referral)
First Tee Phoenix is in need of motivated individuals who want to possitively impact youth through the game of golf! You don’t have to be a golf pro (or even a good golfer), we will provide the training you need! Our training system is built on research-proven methods of positive youth development, providing coaches with the tools to make kids feel safe, included and empowered.
Volunteer Role:
- Assist the Lead Coach in delivering the First Tee Golf and Life Skills
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learing environment
- Assist with setup and breakdown of activites
- Mentoring
Commitment options vary by location:
- Weekly group programming lessons
- 2-12 hours per week for 7 weeks
- Spring, Summer and/ or Fall sessions
Requirements:
- Complete SafeSport Training
- Pass background check
