Pizza Making with St. Vincent de Paul
Help prepare 150 pizzas for the Friday night dinner service at St. Vincent de Paul. Volunteers will roll out dough, spread out the sauce, layer on toppings, and get the pizzas into the ovens to cook.
Please wear closed-toe shoes, mid-thigh length shorts or pants, and sleeved shirts (no tank tops or sleeveless shirts). Hairnets, gloves, and aprons will be provided, but pizza making can get messy, so dress accordingly!
This is a fun and fast-paced volunteer opportunity that requires a team effort. If you sign up for this opportunity, please be sure to show up, or remove yourself in a timely manner if you can no longer attend so another volunteer can take your spot.
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 12 with a parent or guardian. All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a 1:1 child to adult ratio given the tasks involved. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 who aren't attending a project with a parent/guardian MUST bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian, to each project.
