Kid Connection at The Salvation Army
Volunteers will spend quality time with children at the Salvation Army Emergency Family Shelter. Arts & crafts, reading, games, and sports are par for the course at this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers will get to meet new people and make a difference in a child's day!
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 17 with a parent or guardian. All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
If this is your first time volunteering at this project, you will be asked to provide a copy of your driver's license to the volunteer leader. This will be provided to the Salvation Army prior to the event date so they can conduct a National Sex Offender search. We appreciate your cooperation!
Volunteers will also be asked to sign the Salvation Army's volunteer forms before volunteering. Please review them here. If you are unable to print the forms, you are welcome to sign them upon your arrival.
