Food Distribution Maître D's at AZCEND
Food Distribution Maître D's are needed at the Friday Food Bank at Chandler Christian Community Center, a nonprofit that changes lives by nourishing minds and bodies to create a connected, thriving community. Volunteers are needed in various roles:
Food Station Attendees - Volunteers occupy different food stations and place food items in carts as they are pushed by.
Cart Pushers - Volunteers push the carts to each food station for filling, take them to get weighed, and assist the person receiving services to their automobiles, bicylces, etc.
All volunteers aged 16 and 17 who wish to attend a volunteer opportunity without a parent MUST bring a signed Youth Waiver. The minimum age to volunteer is 8 years old with a parent or guardian. Please remember to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Park along the street in front of the Community Center.
By signing up for volunteer opportunities and not attending, you may be depriving someone else the chance to participate and the volunteer opportunity of much-needed support. Please note that in an effort to accommodate volunteers who sign up for opportunities by choice, HandsOn does NOT accept court ordered volunteers and will NOT sign off on any court-related documents.
