MIM Experience Gallery is a dedicated hands-on space where guests of all ages have the opportunity to play many of the instruments that they have seen in other parts of the museum. Whether playing a Theremin alone or participating in an impromptu drum circle with others, guests can choose how they will spend their time in the Experience Gallery.
Assignment description
An Experience Gallery Guide is an outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic individual who provides assistance to guests as they interact with instruments in the Experience Gallery, the hands-on gallery at MIM. You will greet guests as they enter the gallery, provide assistance and instruction on how to play the various instruments and provide some basic information about the instruments. You will also ensure the safety of individuals and the security of the objects.
Time Commitment
Being a Experience Gallery Guide at MIM is a flexible commitment. Volunteer team members can choose their schedule based on their needs and convenience.
