"Come in, grow out" in the GROWHOUSE - Roosevelt Grow Collective Garden & Gallery, a community garden and creative space located at the corner of Garfield and 6th Street. We actively invite community members to join the garden and local artists to present ideas for the gallery on a rolling basis. We run various workshops and events throughout the year, as well as host gallery shows, live music and garden tours on First Fridays.
We are seeking volunteers to help with garden projects such as preparing garden beds, planting, weeding, building garden structures, irrigation and watering, and various art projects and other garden beautification projects.
Minimum age is 8 with a parent or guardian. Volunteers who are 16 or 17 years old need to bring a signed Youth Volunteer Waiver.
