MLK 2018: Vets in Need Outdoor Refresh
Join us for this year's MLK where volunteers are needed to paint a Veteran in needs home. Ms. Puentes served in the Army for 4 years as an E-4 but sustained a back injury during a special training operations and needs your support painting the exterior of her home. No experience is necessary; all training, project supplies, light snacks/water will be provided. The minimum age to volunteer is 16. Volunteer's ages 16 & 17 who wish to participate without a parent/guardian present must bring a signed Youth Waiver Form with them to the project. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get paint on them and closed-toed shoes. We look forward to seeing you at the project! By signing up for volunteer opportunities and not attending, you may be depriving someone else the chance to participate and the volunteer opportunity of much-needed support.
